A MACROBIOTIC DIET
A macrobiotic diet is based on the concept of yin and yang in eastern philosophy and the natural balance of nature. For example, there is no meat in a macrobiotic diet because the small number of teeth in our mouth used for chewing meat compared to the other kind of teeth.Hence, macrobiotics believe that we are not designed to have meat in our diet and sugar also.On the other hand;brown rice which requires a lot of chewing is the primary food in the macrobiotic diet because when we chew the rice, natural sugar is produced in the mouth. So we don't need any sugar from other sources but of course,we need vegetables along with brown rice because they are such a rich source of vitamins and other essential nutrients.
